Brooklynn's first visit to Bartlesville

We took Brooklynn to Bartlesville for the first time to visit lots of family. We were a little worried about how she would do during the five hour drive, but she did great! She slept the whole time. She loved all the attention and all the cuddling that she got to do. She even got to meet some new people- Grandma George, Grandma Cherrie and Grandpa Corky, Uncle Jon, Uncle Scott, and Grandmother and Pop Reed. Brooklynn's cousin Luke also came to see her- he is so cute! I think Luke will be excited when Brooklynn gets old enough to play with him.

Brooklynn is one month old!

We can't believe that it has already been a month! Brooklynn is so sweet. She loves to cuddle, and she is a very good baby. She is very strong, and she can already roll over from her stomach to her back. She smiles a lot in her sleep, and we can't wait for her to give us a real smile. I think it will be any day now. She loves to listen to her daddy's voice and she really seems to be staring at things around her now. We love her so much!

Newborn Pictures

Last week we had professional newborn pictures taken of Brooklynn. She did a great job as a model, aside from a few potty accidents. Here is a preview of the pictures.

Lots of Visitors!

Brooklynn has had many visitors lately. She met her cousin Luke for the first time. He was really sweet with her. They are going to have so much fun together when they get older! Brooklynn also met her Aunt Kara and her Mimi for the first time. My uncle Steve, Aunt Stacy, and their kids Grace, Anna, and Garrett also came for a visit. Brooklynn managed to spit up all over Stacy and Anna, but I think they still enjoyed their visit. Nana also came for a visit, and we were all very sad when she had to leave. I enjoyed getting a few extra naps in, and Brooklynn loved all the cuddle time.
